Here's a tip for all you new kids - don't ever leave your journal behind. Ever ever. Or you may get lost in the Wilderness alone for 3 weeks (or more!) with no way to ask for help and no way out.
And if you do, then all you can do is hope the Adventurers do their job - and they do; try thanking 'em sometime - 'cuz it'll have to be one of them who drags your sorry ass back out of there.

[Two days later, he shows up at the appointed place at what should be roughly dinnertime, by his estimate. Smoke doesn't seem to be there yet, but he's willing to wait until he gets there.

Date: 2011-05-05 03:30 am (UTC)[ It doesn't take more than a minute to get there, but it is tucked back from the main store line, so harder to notice when you just pass in front of it. Otherwise you'd just think it was a particularly wide alleyway. ]
Here we are. We just go in and seat ourselves, then they'll take our order. [ He makes his way to the entrance, and opens the door for his 'date' with a silly flourish.] So you like meat, veggies, fruit, what? You can get any of that on a pizza.

He smirks a little at the flourish.] Sure, all of that's fine.
[Since he's first in the door, he picks a table at random and sits.]

One slice of Meat, one Supreme, one Hawaiian, and one uh... whatever those sweet ones are called! And some knives, so we can cut 'em in half!
[He gestures to Cloud, then.] I'm paying, so he can have whatever. I'll take a beer, though. Thanks~ [And he winks at her good-naturedly, provoking a small laugh.]

[He takes that chance to light up.]

Date: 2011-05-10 01:53 am (UTC)[Not for the first time, it occurs to him that at least when it comes to the medical side of things, Edensphere is absurdly lucky there are people with healing abilities.
Seeing Smoke light up, he follows suit. Not every restaurant lets him, and the lectures he's received in the past make him wary about smoking without permission.] That's one good thing about living here, I'd say... there wasn't anything like that where I'm from, I don't think.

He started cutting into the Meat pizza slice, then the Supreme slice, next the Hawaiian, and lastly the dessert pizza.] You like any of these better and we'll just get more, no prob.

Pulling one of the yellow lumps out of the cheese, he inspected it closely.]
...what kind of fruit is this? I've never tasted anything like it.
