[[The writing comes slowly and every few words come out a little shaky]]
I'll say this much: I actually like the outfit this time.
But that still doesn't excuse the lollipops.
This better as heck go away by my birthday, or I'm gonna find a couple of you jerks to beat senseless andsend to the shadow realm ... into the next life ... you get the idea.
These headaches aren't going away. Can Medical fix those?

Date: 2010-11-14 01:14 am (UTC)A little sharpening wouldn't go amiss, but you take good care of it. What do you call it?
Re: QL
Date: 2010-11-14 06:37 am (UTC)[ Only very few people in Smoke's time in Edensphere had ever NOT been shocked by his weapon suddenly appearing out of thin air.]
[[OOC: Smoke refers to his weapon as a shakujou, as opposed to its more formal name, which translates roughly as staff or stick.]]
QL
Date: 2010-11-14 07:19 am (UTC)Should I be? Not everyone can do that, I know, but it's possible...
Re: QL
Date: 2010-11-14 07:48 am (UTC)And I dunno what else to call it. [ He unlatches the crescent blade from the top of the weapon and pulls it out a little to show the chain. ] You got any better names for this kinda thing?
QL
Date: 2010-11-14 06:45 pm (UTC)Oh, a chain! Even more versatile, then. [ She considers his question. ] I don't have a name for it, no. I mostly deal in swords and bows.
QL
Date: 2010-11-14 09:04 pm (UTC)[ He spins the crescent blade around - away from her - by holding onto the chain just below the crescent. ]
I'm still trying to think of other ways I can use it, but I figure sharpening the blades couldn't hurt.
QL
Date: 2010-11-15 02:20 am (UTC)I think it would be a very effective weapon. And even better sharpened, of course. Do you want to wait, or pick it up later?
Re: QL
Date: 2010-11-15 03:10 am (UTC)[ Then he sighs, but notices that Flame is really interested in the weapon in a way. ]
I'll wait. I'd kinda like to see what all you can do.
QL
Date: 2010-11-15 05:43 pm (UTC)Of course blades bounce off rock. That's probably why you have some nicks here.
[ There's a whetstone in the shop, of course. This is the kind of thing to do by hand. ]
Re: QL
Date: 2010-11-16 03:05 am (UTC)[ All the same, he watches her work. ]
QL
Date: 2010-11-16 05:05 am (UTC)[ She finds the whetstone and the other necessary tools and gets to work. It's clearly a familiar action to her, well-practiced, but she's still quite professional about it. Maybe the scraping sound would bother most people, but she doesn't seem to care. ]
Re: QL
Date: 2010-11-16 08:08 am (UTC)Re: QL
Date: 2010-11-16 01:30 pm (UTC)I thought it might be. But surely you don't always fight alone?
Re: QL
Date: 2010-11-17 12:36 am (UTC)[ The way she said it did make him realize she had a point. If there were people who used magic that he fought alongside, it would make fighting the golems easier. Like when Lea- Axel used fire on them. ]
Re: QL
Date: 2010-11-17 05:14 am (UTC)Well, now they'll have someone with a nicely sharpened weapon at their side.
[ She handed it to him. ]
Re: QL
Date: 2010-11-17 07:49 pm (UTC)At least now I know where to come back to if I end up beating up rocks again.
