The Silver... err, GREY Lining to the Cloud [edited for mun fail]

Is anyone else awake right now? Because I sure as hell shouldn't be.

I gotta admit, I've gotten pretty damn happy about being able to sleep naked in my own bed, but still be warm enough under my blankets. I just woke up - slow night, what can you do - because I was sweating like a freaking pig. I throw my blankets off, jump out of bed, and try to figure out what the hell is going on...

When I realize that I'm not buck naked anymore. I quickly found a mirror and honestly... I didn't think I could look more ridiculous! This terrible haircut and now some... stupid... stuffy... uniform??? I look like I belong to somebody AND a giant dork!

I mean, who would want to wear a jacket that's way too tight with little patches on the sides and no way to show off your chest, ON TOP OF a shirt that's trying to choke you, an extra-silky noose around neck.

Now, I know that some people can pull this look off. However, they do not have kid-short pink hair AND THEY ARE NOT WEARING RIDICULOUS CLOWN-PANTS! They're giving me seriously bad vibes, just sitting in them. Like if I was running out the door in five minutes, I had no other clean pants, and I had no expectation of meeting attractive people while I was out... I might grab this shit, if I was doing exhaustive manual labor. Or I might go in shorts, or just my boxers - it'd be a less offensive fashion statement for a guy my age than this dumb outfit. I mean, come on, the pockets aren't even big enough for my hands to fit in!

... Ugh, that was a lot of writing. My hand hurts now. I'm super-tired too. Damn.

Added many hours later: Okay, I admit it, this is way better than way-too-big dresses. This was at least designed for a guy... I think. Maybe it was designed for a guy BY a woman.

[[OOC: Apologies for tl;dr. ^^;; ♥ The kappa-muse felt like ranting about pants remarkably similar to the ones from his season 1 & 2 outfit. Fandom has yet to figure out why the most fashion-conscious member of the gang would EVER wear those pants.]]

Did it grant him the power of precognition too? Justice has no cravat yet in ES as noted on lloooaaadddsss of occasions XD. Just sayin XD

He wore those pants in case of HAMMER TIME.

You've got to stop being so negative, Little Bro.

I, on the other hand, am enjoying all these awesome short skirts.

Some of these ladies have great legs and never realized it.

By 'this thing' I meant 'this look' - i.e. dressing nicely ("stuffy", in Smoke's opinion), rather than jeans and a t-shirt, but now I feel bad that can be misinterpreted. DX Do you think if I just change it to 'this look' that'll be okay?

I'm still sorry that confusion happened :'(

Don't ever teach him that dance XD

... See now that I got some more sleep in, I can actually think.

That sounds like a FABULOUS plus to this whole situation. I think I'm taking a barstool outside.

If you like, but Justice wouldn't seen dead in that sort of new romantic throwback outfit anyways. So IDK that he's a relevant person to make a comparison to XD

Okay fair enough. =_= I assumed Justice would be wearing "nice" clothes, or at least nicer than what Smoke wears. I apologize.

Could you suggest someone that Smoke might have seen that wore "nice" clothing, anything remotely closer to a suit/pants+blouse/jacket+slacks than what Smoke runs around in?

"TL;DR, kappa." /thwack

Because rambling on for pages at a time will really improve things. We all got stuck in shitty outfits, deal.

Anything is better than nudity.

OOC-Threadjack here, folks.

Fail-hiatus, but I like being helpful. XD You could always use Grift as an example there--he tends to wear suits from the 1920s, but since he was born in the Era of Ruffles, he'd often be seen wearing rather archaic accessories without the knowledge that they are, in fact, archaic.

Ah so would Grift actually be running around in suit-similar clothing, or is he still reduced to newborn clothing?

I'd rather like it if we were all stuck in the nude.

Excuse me while I go stab my eyes out.

Aww, did you get some new wrinkles?
