Okay, I get it. The sphere gets its jollies off by watching a bunch of guys flail around because we've got new parts to deal with. So why the hell didn't it go all the way with mine? This is part of the punishment isn't it?

A great many people appear to suffer from a similar predicament. It may simply be an unfortunate coincidence, though that is probably not much of a comfort.

[Smoke has waved goodbye to Kagerou and is now at least in a bra-like contraption, and able to wear his own pants at least. He debates leaving the shirt off, thinks better of it, and puts on a white wife-beater that clearly doesn't cover everything, but it's the best he can do - oh nope, wait, he finds his long brown trench-coat and puts that on too, leaving it open. It's the small things in life.]

[He waits outside of his room at temp housing, looking for her - which is hard because he doesn't know what Asuka looks like normally OR changed, so he just looks for someone looking around]

[ With a small sigh she will leave her room, and leave a small note for Kagami in case he might want her latter. Asuke opened the door then began to walk, rather calmly. Ever since her little talk with Bellflower she has been feeling much better. ]

His in the guard... [ She muttered, not quiet noticing the other women which was reverently close. Well, after a moment of looking around, scaning her surrondings she will spot the other women. She smiled politly, well, that person sure did have... a rather large chest, so it must be her.]

Are you who I'm thinking you are?

[Well that was one fine looking woman, that was for sure. Too bad he wasn't in his normally body and that wasn't another Sphere citizen, or he'd have hit on her immediately. And there had been enough awkwardness that morning.]

I'm Smoke, if that's who you mean. The one who needs at least a handful of shirts to fit this new chest of mine.

[ She blinked, then sighed. She finally found her, er- him. She gestured to her hand, or to the bag she had carrying. ]

I'm Asuka, and well... I have the clothes. I thought they would fit, since they are the only ones that fit me. [ At that she will laugh rather awkwardly. ]

My... conditions aren't exactly the same as everyone else.

[He laughed too] I see what you mean. I take it you're not used to this either.

[Smoke dug into his pockets for a few coins] I really appreciate it, uh... Asuka, right? 'S what Kagerou said your name was. [He held out some coins in his right hand, his left hand hoping to take the bag] Not like just anybody'd do that without knowing me.

That is troubling. Do you predict that the effect would be long-term?

Yeah, it was a bit to sudden! You know what I mean.

[ She nodded, smiling a bit albeit forcefully. She handed over the bag but eyes the coins, now, she didn't want to take them but... it would only be polite. She smiled, then gently took them from his hand. ]

Sometimes these things are mercifully quick. Sometimes they drag out a helluva long time.

Yeah over the journals, since I didn't know your name.

[He smiles as she takes the coins]

Only fair, right? I'll still owe you one, but at least until then I'll know I paid you back for the clothes themselves. Just gotta pay back helping a stranger.

[ She nodded. ]

That sentiment's not as common as you may think. It's good to know you're like that, though. Found out real quick in this place that you gotta find people you can trust - can't go at it alone.

Yeah, I know what you mean. [ She won't mention that fact that she can't really bring herself to trust people that easily... it's just, unnerving so to speak. ]

I guess you really just need some friends, huh?

[He smirks a little, eyes flickering with a hint of nostalgia]

I was thinking more of you, actually. I've been here long enough to make a lot of acquaintances I trust... been here long enough to lose a few of 'em, too.

[He perks up] But that's why you gotta find new people all the time.

I'm sorry; losing them must have been hard.

[ She nodded, smiling ever so slightly. Someone such as herself, someone that know loneliness. since it was the sift thing she has felt in this world, she never understood why. ]

Yeah...

A few days can be a long time, when one is particularly troubled.

Most of a month is worse.

Well yeah, but the worst I've ever had was most of a month.

I think it depends on how much you pissed off the tree. Really bad stuff may not stay with you for awhile, but sometimes that's all it takes to mess with you. Goofy annoying stuff may stick with you longer, but at that point you can still mostly go through life, it's just... humiliating.

Piss off the tree enough and you get a long-term bad-news done to you. Like dying, not coming back for awhile, and losing memories on top of that.

You are referring to the tree as an entity, directly responsible for these going-ons. I assume that that is a figure of speech.
